Househusbands of Hollywood was a Fox Reality Channel series that documented the lives of five househusbands and their wives who provide the primary household income, while they tend to their homes, and in some cases, their children.[1]

Ashley is a former baseball player for the Los Angeles Dodgers & Boston Red Sox.[2] In the show he assists his wife with her LA Girlfriend teen skincare line.
Barclay is an unemployed actor [3] whose wife, Katherine Barclay, is an attorney at a Los Angeles law firm. During one episode of the show, Danny appeared on GSN's Catch 21 gameshow before losing in the final round. He and Katherine also auditioned for the Newlywed Game. At the end of the series Danny and Katherine were trying to conceive a child and Danny received a part in the play Macbeth.
Bell is an actor who played the role of Ron Johnson on the television series, A Different World. Bell's longtime girlfriend is actress Tempestt Bledsoe, who played the role of Vanessa Huxtable on The Cosby Show. Although the show's title specifically called for spouses[4], Bell and Bledsoe were not married and neither had children at the time of filming.[5]
Mattera is an actor/screenwriter married to a psychologist.[6]Charlie is friends with actor Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett. In the series Charlie is reluctant to reveal his criminal past to his inlaws but does so in the final episode.
Reynolds is a former United States Marine Corps sniper, whose wife, Jillian Reynolds, was the host of Fox Reality Channel’s American Idol Extra, co-host of KTTV Fox 11’s Good Day L.A. and former weather woman for Fox NFL Sunday.[7] During the reunion show it was revealed that Grant and Jillian are expecting their second child together.
